We have been going swimming since daddy got into his accident. Mommy would put a life jacket on Lucas so that he would be safe, but he didn't trust the life jacket at first and clung to mommy or daddy like a little monkey. The next day, he would cling to the wall, but was a little more brave and would allow mommy and daddy to hold him away from their bodies. The next day, he would get away just a little bit from mommy and kick a little bit over to where daddy was standing. Finally, on this day (last Tuesday), Lucas would swim all over the pool in his little life jacket. He could turn and go forward or backward. He also could lean back and jump in to the pool from the side. At one point mommy asks Lucas to help her get to the wall and he comes over and pulls her to the wall.
