It's wintertime and you know what that means? Christmas! So first thing's first, we went to get a Christmas tree, and met Santa along the way. Lucas also got to have fun on a hay ride around the christmas tree farm. We got a potted Christmas tree so we can plant it at Grandma Bev and Grandpa Steve's house and see it for years to come. Here are some pictures of our fun. And yes, at 6 months, 3 weeks, Lucas is 31 inches tall.

Lucas went to his 6-month checkup today. He weighs 21 lbs 9oz, he is 30.5 inches long, and has a 44cm head circumference. After he got checked, we had to give Lucas his shots. We went to the immunization office and saw a big fish tank with over a dozen little fish inside. Lucas had to get four shots, 2 in each leg. He cried when the shots were given, but he stopped shortly thereafter and just had an angry look on his face. After we came home, mommy and Lucas took a nap.

Okay, one last Halloween picture. Lucas and Mommy got a set of stickers when they went Trick or Treating at Willow Glenn. When he was sleeping, Daddy decided to put the pumpkin stickers on Little Lucas's cheeks. Here's the result.

And as promised, here is a picture of Lucas crawling! Okay, he's not quite crawling, but he can balance on his hands and knees, and rock back and forth. And he not only can balance on his hands and knees, he can also balance on his hands and feet. In a couple of weeks I expect him to drop and give me 20 :o).

I wanted to post just two last pictures of Lucas in his cow costume. This was just before he went Trick or Treating. I know it's a little late, but we just loaded the pictures from the camera.

Lucas is 6 months old today. We got his portrait done and he was so cute. After he took a regular picture, he got all dirty so we had to put his clothes up on the clothesline.

He got a jumbo music block for his 6 month birthday and he enjoys the activities and pushing himself up on the top. He also recently has been able to stay up on his hands and knees. Sometimes he will rock a little bit, but he can't quite take that first crawling lunge yet.

Lucas is almost 6 months. I just wanted to post a picture of him from when he was just a little guy. He was a month old in this picture. Time sure does fly. I'm thankful for the memories I will have to look back on.

P.S. The binkey doesn't take up so much of his face anymore! LOL
